Surface quality – Glossmeters
Portable one- and three-angle glossmeters equipped with software with statistical function. Benchtop glossmeters for curved surfaces or small parts. Mobile probe glossmeters. Certified calibration standards. OPTIMAP PSD this tool use the exclusive optical PSD method to analyse surface quality, whether it is opaque or glossy. The measurement takes place, similarly to a photographic shot, in a single moment in the two X-Y lines without the need to move the instrument. This characteristic makes it interesting in search of defects and imperfections. Evaluating the surface before and after the application of the various finishes allows optimisation of painting processes.
OPTIMAP PSD
Measure and quantify the quality of the surface finish using optical technology PSD – Phase Stepper Deflectometry. Place the instrument on the surface to produce a detailed 2D and 3D mapping of all the defects present on it: undulations, orange peel, dots, scratches etc. in both directions X-Y. The storage of measurements and a detailed analysis with reporting is allowed by special sw Ondulo.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL GLOSSMETERS WITH MOBILE PROBE 20°
IQ Flex20; innovative multifunction mobile probe glossmeters with customizable profile. It join the flexibility of the mobile measuring head with the most advanced gonio photometric detection technology, coming from the IQ series. This is reference instruments for the reflection measurement of surface quality even on non-planar surfaces using combination of Haze, Gloss and Orange Peel measurements (DOI-RIQ values).
BENCHTOP GLOSSMETERS FOR CURVED SURFACES
A bench-top instrument with incident light of 60,000 kg is particularly suitable for measuring the brilliance of concave parts, convex irregular surfaces and in any case of limited dimensions or not measurable with standard glossmeters. The foot switch and the fixing samples accessory increase the ease of use and the reproducibility of measurements.

Gloss Meter 45° (for measurements of both matt and glossy surfaces, for ceramic, textile and anodized aluminum products). Equipped with a display to show the measurements also as statistical functions (min, max, average and dev. Std). USB data output for connection to the supplied Novo-Soft QA software
GLOSSMETERS WITH THREE ANGLES
Glossmeters NovoGloss series composed of two models at 60° and 20/60/85°. Equipped with a large, coloured display that show the measurements made. Measure can be recall from memory as numerical, graphic or statistical functions (min, max, media and dev. Std). It can output data by USB or Bluetooth transmission directly in CSV format for spreadsheets, without the need for dedicated software on the PC or MAC.
IQ GLOSSMETER WITH GONIOPHOTOMETER
The new Gonio-photometer iQ sets a new standard in the measurement of high-gloss surfaces. The accurate Gonio-photometric detection system allows to characterize the surface quality through the reflectance profiles. Adds the new function RIQ (Reflected Image Quality) to the parameters of Mirror Reflectance (RSP), Glaze (Haze), DOI (Distinctness of Image).
